my kids

Somehow that struck me this morning as very philosophical: do we 'repeat'
ourselves again and again as we have children? And if we have more than one,
are we also repeating them? My kids are sooooo different yet with a basic
similarity due to their environment as they grew up - they would never see
themselves as 'repeats', yet they certainly have all repeated and most times
extended 'me', or aspects of me.
Thanks for that thought, Frank.
