I think he left there a long time ago, though that's where he was the last time I saw him; and that could be more than a quarter of a century
He read in St Ives about a year ago. I saw the poster about an hour after I had bought a ticket to leave before the reading
& he's been on the radio a bit in the last year or 2 - still writing rather interestingly, i think; and reading very well
anyway, this is far too much posting for a shy rabbit like me
I shall post two snaps presently, two because my mental camera jammed last week, and then have a lettuce sandwich in my burrow in cautious silence

I only met Pete once, in Milnes, and his advice was to head for England as
fast as hell cos only poets writing in Scots would survive up North. He
