Vicious or viscous, Robin? They used to look pretty viscous, lying there
like bits of Monsieur Valdemar on the paths, back in the days when
myxomatosis was introduced to decimate them. The UK attitude to nature -
bureaucratize it, but eradicate when poss. Which is why 1/5 (I think it
was recently in the news) of native flowers are now extinct or
critically endangered - I can't think of a similar statistic for the fauna.
I will here make a blanket condemnation: those people who promulgate the
so-called Judgment of God on the human race that an omniscient Higher
Being has prepared for the faulty creations of His Own Divine Fiat are
themselves propagating evil, and are of Satan's (Yaldabaoth's) party. A
certain person mailing to this list is either deeply disingenuous or
actively malicious. I am on the verge of leaving.
