>I once had a lover named Bee
>O, did my combs come home ripe with honey..."
>Sorry,Liz, I couldn't resist that.
Well here's me trying to make a proper contributions to the discussion of poetry and all! I should have known better......
>Welcome back from wherever you were.
>I do remember you going somewhere. Hope it was good,
I went to Thailand and it was great - I got to backpack around with my son and daughter, and everyone thought it was hilarious that they were travelling with their mother! In fact many people simply insisted we must be friends, we couldnt possibly be mother and daughter......
I got completely lost, left on the side of a motorway at three in the morning, dumped in a temple for the day and generally did all those exploring things. (The offspring sent me off on my own for a while you see....) Plus I learned to scuba and swam with the fish. Remarkable. I am so glad I went.
Said daughter is in China now. and I am back home and teaching in Stoke on Trent. Huh?
Liz
