Yes there is a similar setup in UK where you can get any book held by the
British Library. They hold every book published in the UK that has been sent
to them (nowadays a legal requirement for all publishers to deposit one copy
with the British Library, and if requested also to the 5 main UK and Ireland
University legal deposit libraries).
