Oneadditional point. Steven Pinker of Harvard was talking on the radio just
now and pointed out that males tend to occupy the extremes of the
intelligence distribution, thus there are both more stupid and more highly
intelligent males than females. When I start reading Simon Baron-Cohen's
book now it will be interesting to see if he discusses this in connection
with his own work.
