When asked (about his best circa early twenties' lyrics), Dylan says (I
suspect while 'looking back') he can't remember when, why or how.
I suspect he lookt back more than once. And caught quite a bit "blowing in
the wind."
If only Orpheus could have hired the Detective Perry Mason - he would have
gotten the mighty Eurydice up in the Judge's dock. But nothing worse than a
court case without songs. But then again, sometime the accused sing real
well. If "E" could have only sung as well as "O". The literature, as the
West acquired it, may have been irrevocably changed. Just imagine "E" going
after "O". Would it have been a different whistle in the dark?
