Isn't the tension between Orpheus' song and Orpheus loss (the sorrow) and
the way the latter informs the former that keeps O's story (song)
permanently alive, indeed in an eternity of access, either as literature or
'real' - as in a story that is continuously happening to one, another or
many to be retold, again and again.
All things considered, I think, Ken, Orpheus blows a pretty good horn. May
we have such luck!
