Some of our cats, in the past, have responded to the sound of oaf-nuts (as
my father called them, oaf being his generic term for cat; otherwise
cat-biscuits) being rattled in their box. They (the cats) would gallop
across several gardens in response. No tin-opening could match that.
Strangely, though, not all of them responded with the same enthusiasm.
