an absolute
clarity of air
pastel sky pale
blue falls toward
an almost unseen green
orange gauze darkling pink
the black crouch of low hill beyond the river
above god
s pared fingernail
hangs there
tossed aside
indifferent
to all tidal twists
& turns below
