Well I know my wife hated his work from the get go. I needed time to
learn more & then begin to recognize the deep flaws, especially sexual
& political theologies, I guess. Although right from the start Kangaroo
seemed distinctly weird & wrong (although some of the descriptions of
the landscapes remain powerful).
