Why, thanks Doug - much appreciated. I do enjoy writing them. And I've got
some fabulous stuff coming up, including Ariane Mnouchkine's Le Dernier
Caravanserail, which I'm very excited about.
And Mark, how envious I am that you saw that production!

I didn't realise quite how cross I was until I started writing. Someone else
has got even crosser and contacted the Arthur Miller estate. I think I
should duck. If the company didn't get permission to cut the play (and
Arthur Miller was famously against such things) there could be a bit of a
kerfuffle. Which I rather fear I might be blamed for...But if the company
did not have permission, they should not have cut the play. There is such a
thing as moral rights. Well, we shall see...
