Congratulations, Deborah.
Radio is fascinating--its history and continued transformative
influences on orality in literary art, viz, Havelock's *The Muse Learns
to Write,* how "... the oral spell is transmitted in the twinkling of
an eye... ."
Orality that is electronically mediated seems to me very powerful, even
in an age that would rather promote banal visual affect, and then does
it to astounding effect. Interesting contradiction in that I think.
Radio has immense potential, no matter what the state of visual
rhetorics might be.
Anyway, I was hoping to get an address for radio-streaming--are they
doing that?--I hope so. Please let me know.
Best Wishes,
Chris Murray

Subject: KRFC - A Small Announcement...
I am scheduled to read a few works for "The Poetry Hour", here in
Fort
Collins.
I hope a few of you will be able to catch the show. It is on 88.9 KRFC
-
Homegrown Radio: June 5th, 6pm, with Dona Stein.
I'm looking forward to the program, and meeting Dona Stein. Dona is a
great
poet, patron and advocate of poetry. Some of her work is on
Ploughshares,
which I admire.
Thanks...best regards,
Deborah Russell
