Dominic, I can only apply the logic of an atrophying brain to this. How
does anyone not notice a huge contingent of the Japanese Navy--an
armada, if you like--traveling for a week halfway across the Pacific
Ocean? Nobody found this remarkable or threatening? And the US Navy
aircraft carriers are supposed to have happenstanced their ways out of
Pearl for maneuvers that Sunday morning. I don't get it. But I'd
seriously like to know where to look to find out more about this. I
don't doubt that we were needed in that war. We were already in open
support of the UK. Germany and Japan were not Iraq. I'm just a bit
off-put by what I've heard were the means to engage us
