Nope, not nearly cynical enough. Watching Bush & his gang trying to
make a coherent statement about how much they care & how 'everyone is
doing their best' -- so that he wont even think about removing any of
the dolts, like the head of FEMA, from their positions, well, I didnt
know who to feel most ashamed for. But Cheney was finally back from
*his vacation, & according to a pollster this morning, only 54% of
USAmericans now feel the President etc have done a poor job -- although
a far greater percentage of Blacks & Democrats still do....
It was interesting to hear Wynton Marsalis talking about this to
Charlie Rose last night: placing this in an historical contextual line
of events, & deeply angry.
