Assumption. Most humans most of the time follow the evidence of their
senses as far as it will take them--that's why fishermen try different
flies if the fish don't bite until they find one that works. Empiricism is

Look up pretensiousness, I think you're misusing it. I do tend to believe
in dictionaries, tho always with a hint of skepticism.

One can't have rational discourse about belief in givens--a contradiction
in terms.
But hey, you guys have for the moment taken over America, causing immense
destruction in sub-Saharan Africa (AIDS policy), not to speak of the middle
east and our own continent. Why should you care what anybody thinks?
Unless, with true Christian compassion, you're trying to save our souls.
