Hi Mark - giving one's time and paying close attention to work always seems
to me to be a generous act, whether or not one agrees with the
conclusions/speculations, which are always arguable -
For my part, I am a bit taken aback by Annie's theory of certain kinds of
meaning inhering in metrics. I donšt know what her theory of feminism and
form is, but can perhaps intuit what it might be. There's no doubt that in
poetic terms, form is a language, but how/if that relates to semantics is a
little tricky -
