As real as you like, Doug. I would certainly be interested in reading about
Tostevin's poems, or any Canadian poets who catch your eye; and there is
certainly a point in writing about works that perhaps many of us might never
see (or I would not bother reviewing theatre in Melbourne!)
I think Stephen's suggestion is excellent, if people are prepared to do the
work. As I said, a listserv where people can question and respond to a
review immediately seems to me a good context for such things. A web page
could easily be set up to house the reviews as well for easier access. How
many people on list might be interested in doing this?
