This conversation has made me realise that I don't draw sharp distinctions
between sensual and other pleasures. Ie, that sensual pleasure, if it is
pleasurable, consists of many components, which include the mind and the
emotions, and intellectual pleasure has certainly a sensual component (which
is no doubt why I write poetry and not philosophy). Nor do I see a great
difference between the pleasures in thinking and what one might be thinking
_about_, since the pleasures in whatever one is thinking about seem to me
inextricable from the pleasures of thinking. Although I can see how they
are different. Hmmm.
