I tend to agree with you in terms of response, Jill, but I think that
a) Kent enjoys a certain kind of confrontation, & b) a book like his, &
the kinds of responses it gets, perhaps allows for a continuing
'discussion' in a way most poetry, certainly mine, does not. The
arguments are about more than just the 'value' of the poetry.
I don't think responding to a review which clearly comes from someone
who simply doesn't like what you do would be of much use. So I still
wouldn't try it....
