It is (I'm reluctantly forced to admit) good to visit -- and if you ever do,
check out The Deacon Brodie pub in the Royal Mile. They do an appetising
line in haggis baps, both carniverous and vegetarian, and sell Deacon Brodie
T-shirts (I'm wearing one as I type). Not as grey as Rankin makes out, at
least in the summer, but it can be bloody cold in Princess Street when the
wind is blowing.

Drinking too much of that stuff when I was young(er) is part of the reason
why I've only one tooth left in my jaw.
They're actually trying to market it in England now -- will wonders never
