I like the point about Creeley's recurring image of "echoes" & the
quoted example of the stars.
It was a shock to me, his dying - I always had the impression that he
was eternally youthful, though of course that late volume I was just
reading is called *Life & Death* : > He told her,/"to the stars, to the
/Milky Way",/relaxed, and was gone. <
