I think Tony Harrison was playing a different game (and not, to be
honest, one I particularly like).
But whatever, the poems in +Continuous+ and +The School of Eloquence+ were
lovely.
... but I think when it comes to Harrison, you have to factor-in the
class-jumping element (Alan Silliitoe is the class-case [oops!] for me
here).
Didn't seem to run +quite+ the same way in Scotland.
