For Melburnians - the shop is in Wellington St, Clifton Hill, if anyone can
make it there.

Subject: De Havillands on Wellington's closing down 50% off
Dear Friends,
Well, some kind of an era is coming to a close. Early this year I walked
into my mate Shelton Lea's bookshop, De Havillands on Wellington, and
Shelton asked me if I could help him with Nebucaddnezzar. With the help
of Gig Ryan and Black Pepper Publishing, we got this fine book,
Shelton's 9th, launched eight days before he died on May 13. Then there
was the Trades Hall wake, the work on his archives and then the
reopening of the bookshop two days a week. Phew.
The shop hasn't been doing too badly considering, but sadly it's time to
close the doors. Leith is moving on (not literally, but figuratively).
Today Friday 16th, Monday 19th and Wednesday 21st Dec 10 - 5.30 are the
last days of trading and everything is at 50% off. We stock second-hand,
fine and collectable books specialising in poetry. Come raid the shelves
for Christmas presents or buy that treasured book which will appreciate
at a bargain basement cost.
All the best,
Jen
