Bart,

Unfortunately, I was unable to attend the conference in staffordshire as I was on my honeymoon. any information you could send me on this would be really useful. I will also contact Nachi (at Staffs) to see if he has any information that may be useful.

Thanks

Neville

	Hello Neville,

	On the web site of mBT (www.masai.ch and choose international or uk) you'll find the results of the Calgary study and also some others.

	We just finished our own study with the kinematic results being in line of the Calgary study, but with the plantar pressure data being somewhat in contrast with the preliminary "Edinbourg study".

	I wear this shoes for about three years by now and thought I am a significant pronator, for ME these shoes are the most comfortable and painfree I ever had since years. The few patients of ours who are wearing mBT's are doing fine.too.

	If you are interested in our study (presented last month in Straffordshire), just contact me personally.

	Success,

	Bart

	PS. The shoes are indeed ugly and my wife (you are not the only one Bruce) hates looking at them. But so what, I am not constantly looking downwards and comfort has its price.

		?

		Neville;

		    Check the archives, this has been discussed several times. Personally, I think the shoes are hideously ugly and not overly helpful to your gait.

		Sincerely;

		Bruce Williams

			Subject: Masai Barefoot Technology

			Dear colleagues,

			Appologies if this subject has already been dicussed.

			I have had a few patients bring to my attention their intentions to purchase Masai Barefoot Technology footwear and were seeking my advice. I am not familiar with this type of footwear and only have the website to go off.

			What are your thoughts and what is the general consensus?

			I also believe they are very expensive.

			Thank you
