The new Manchester Business School is now the largest business and
management school in the UK . Its four constituent parts had excellent
reputations which we are now building on to ensure that we become one of
the foremost international business schools.
The Decision Sciences and Operations Management group comprises 16
academic staff, two project officers and a number of research staff who
teach and research in decision sciences, operational research, project
management, operations management and related areas. Applications are
invited for the above post to contribute to undergraduate and postgraduate
teaching in one or more of the following areas: quantitative methods,
decision analysis, decision modelling, decision support systems,
optimisation, soft modelling and simulation. The post holder will also be
expected to supervise students at one or more of the following levels:
MSc, MBA, MPhil and PhD and undertake research in a related field.
Applicants for the post of Lecturer must have a PhD in related area and
demonstrable teaching and research experience whilst applicants for the
post of Senior Lecturer must also have an excellent research track record
and experience of managing and leading research projects.
Salary:
Lecturer £23,643 - £35,883 p.a.
Senior Lecturer £37,558 - £42,573 p.a.
