PHD OPPORTUNITIES IN OPERATIONAL RESEARCH/MANAGEMENT
SCIENCE
The Management School intends to award up to three fully funded research
studentships to support doctoral training in Operational
Research/Management Science (OR/MS). One of these is a joint
EPSRC/Credit Research Centre award and will support work on credit
scoring in collaboration with a financial institution. The remainder are
EPSRC awards and will support work in any area within the School's
research programme in OR/MS. The studentships will provide funding for
three years to include payment of UK/EU fees, maintenance (no less than
£11,000 p.a.) and research support. Applicants must meet EPSRC eligibility
requirements, have (at least) an upper second class honours degree (or
equivalent) and have studied a subject with substantial mathematical
content at undergraduate and/or masters level.
