One or more positions are available to contribute to a range of applied and
methodological projects. This will include advanced meta-analysis, decision
analytic cost-effectiveness modelling, Bayesian decision theory and value of
information analysis.
You will hold a higher degree in a quantitative subject such as statistics,
mathematics or operational research. Health economists with strong
quantitative skills are also encouraged to apply. Preferably you will have
experience in health-related applications.
Salary will be within the range £19,460 - £35,883 per annum within Grade IA
or Grade II of the salary scales for Research Staff. Appointment at Grade II
level would be dependent on previous experience.
Appointments will be for two years in the first instance. Applications to
work full-time or part-time will be considered. Secondments from other
institutions will also be considered.
