Dear list
A 41 yr old female who works packing morphine into capsules for a pharma company is experiencing symptoms of light-headedness and nausea starting 20 mins into work and ending soon after. She has not experienced any exposure incidents. This lady also works periodically packing other pharmaceuticals and experiences no feelings of being unwell.
Urine based tests data so far:
Pre-work Neg at cutoff 300 ng/ml
End-work 400 ng/ml of Total morphine
Next day-work Neg at cutoff 300 ng/ml
A colleague who worked the same shift was also tested. She has never experienced any feelings of being unwell and was Neg at cutoff 300 ng/ml at all 3 time periods.
I would appreciate your opinions, advice or suggestions in this case.
Many thanks
Helen
