Yes it does as she still owns the information and under DPA and FIA she does have a right to see them. You can copy them and provide her with a copy - you are also entitled to charge her for the copy that you give her. Or she can come in and see them and make notes if she wants. You should always make sure that you get her request in writing though for your records.

Subject: Release of notes
Hello folks
I am relatively new to this job, and this morning while I was reviewing a
lady who has had 'contact dermatitis' for approximately 8 months, she asked
if she can have a copy of her Occupational Health Notes.
I strongly suspect she intends to begin litigation proceedings against the
company.
I have only been in the job a few weeks. Can I photocopy and give her a
copy of 'all' the notes in her file, including those written by my
predecessor ?
I know that under DPA and Freedom of Information she is entitled to see her
own notes, but does that include those not written by me ?
Any advice would be much appreciated.
Chris
