Hi all,
I am very new to Occupational Health and have taken a position where me
predecessor has left very little information and policies etc. I am happy
working the review and referal system that makes up the large majority of
my working day, but I feel little lost in the other areas of my role.
I would appreciate any information as to the best resources avaiable for
the Occ Health basics such as Health Surveillance, Absence Management,
Health Promotion Inititaves, with particular referance to the food
production industry.
I am also trying to source an appropriate qualification in this field, and
would appreciate any recomendations for diploma/degree courses. I am
faced with this vertical learning curve at present and while I realise
that Rome wasn't built in a day, I want to make sure that I am not missing
essential elements of my role.
Thanks folk.
Claire Lambert
