Dear Marjorie and others,
we routinely offer MMR to all clinical staff and all staff working with
regular contact with pregnant women who are not immune to rubella. We
are now investigating whether we should be offering MMR to staff working
with immunocompromised patients and those working with pregnant women
who have no definite history of mumps (serological screening apparently
is not effective as the tests give many false negatives).
Do other Trusts do this? Also, what about measles?
Also, does anyone have a Patient Group Direction for the triple
inactivated polio, diphtheria and tetanus vaccine that they could
share?

Dear NHS Colleagues
We are again reviewing the MMR situation, and would appreciate your
comments on giving triple vaccines. Does anybody do this and for those
that
don't what is your rationale.
Many thanks
Marj Dawson
