Subject: Arthritis adaptive aids
Hello all
Has any one had any experience with adaptive aids for arthritic hands in
relation to writing and stapling? I have a case where the employee has
poor grip and power in her hands. I have advised adjustments in relation
to DSE etc but part of her job is reviewing paper questionnaires and
marking checks on the papers with a pen, and stapling batches of papers
together.
There is no-one else who could do these two tasks for her so I need to
find adaptations to support this.
I have done a Google search and found some pen holders from sales sites
but I can't find anything from the disability or ARC about adaptations
in the workplace so would be grateful if anyone has seen or been
involved in similar situations.
Kind regards,
Car Barnes OHA
