Hi Crumb list,
My name is Ellie Harrison and I am an artist and curator of
Day-to-Day Data: a national Touring exhibition, publication
and website. www.daytodaydata.com
I am currently researching for an essayist to complete one of
two texts to be featured in the publication.
The first essay will be written by Ben Highmore and will focus on
the history of everyday life as inspiration for artistic practice in
reference the artists involved in the project.

The second essay should tackle the growing interest in the use
of data collection and analysis, methodical and scientific research
in artistic practice, again in reference to the artists involved in
Day-to-Day Data.
I thought that this subject could be of interest to the Crumb
readers who contributed to November's theme of the month
'Data and Art'...
There is plenty of information about the project available at the
website address above.
The brief:
Essay: 2000 - 3000 words
Fee: £500
Deadline: 2 May 2005
If you are interesting in writing for the publication,
please send an email to: [log in to unmask]
with ESSAY in the subject bar and include:
- 200 word statement about why this project interests you
- CV
- example of your writing (URL or word document)
Please reply by 23rd February
If you have any additional questions please let me know
thanks for your time
Ellie Harrison
