A link or cut paste blurb is actually the language of mailing lists. This
collection of links is what the network/thread is made of.
I personally have found these recent posts helpful - its not possible to
write in depth reviews every time you email someone.
I respect the point that this list has different objectives from other
mailing lists but people contribute ideas in different ways.
Within design, "use value" is ultimately decided by the user and not the
designer.
Isn't this an issue which actually effects 'new media curation'. People are
actually able to curate / filter information themselves (Blogs, Ipods etc.
are all forms of curation) and there needs to be less interference (within
obvious boundaries) for these elements to be brought out?
