Dear colleagues,
we would welcome some advice in a technical matter.
We had to replace the laser rod and some other parts of a kHz Nd:YLF laser
(model DP-H 527, Quantronix/Excel, single cw lamp, intracavity doubled,
acousto-optical Q-switch, manufactured 1995).
Currently we are working on realigning the complete system from scratch.
We started in the cw mode (1053 nm) using a 12% output coupler. However the energy that we have achieved so far is not satisfying.
Does anyone like to share her/his experience in alignment of this (or similar) laser system(s) starting from the cw/IR?
We are grateful for any hints or procedures for optimization.
Any help in this matter is greatly appreciated,
Thank you,
Christoph
