The internationally-renowned Greek Byzantine Choir will make its Boston
début this month performing a powerful and fascinating program of Greek
chant representing three important traditions in Byzantine music and the
Greek Orthodox tradition, including works by Ioannis Koukouzelis, melodies
from the Mt. Athos manuscripts, and joyful odes of the Christmas season.
