Hi Liz,
I'm not sure how relevant the site will be to most architects, but you're very welcome if you'd like to come along. I'll reserve a place for you. The reception will take place from 6-8pm at the Museum.
With best wishes,
Jane

Importance: High
Hi Jane
It would be advantageous to me to attend your guest launch as I am responsible for 7,000 architects working throughout Greater London. Please could
you add me to your list?
I would be pleased if you could confirm back to me that I can attend on 20 September.
Kind regards
Liz

Subject: Launch of Postcodes Project website at Museum of London
Hi,
On Tuesday 20 September the Museum of London will be launching a new website entitled the Postcodes Project. A limited number of places at the launch
reception have been reserved for colleagues from other institutions. If you would like to join us, please contact me at the address below.
The Postcodes Project website is a new resource aimed adults with an interest in local history. It showcases a wide variety of objects from the
Museum's collections, highlighting one for each London postcode area. In addition there are numerous links to local museums, libraries, archives and
adult education centres to encourage people to get more involved in local heritage. The really exciting aspect of the site is a system that enables
individuals and members of community groups to submit their own stories about an area. These will gradually build up to create a website which is as
rich and diverse as the city it portrays.
<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
After the launch you will also be welcome to visit the site online, and submit a story of your own, at <http://www.museumoflondon.org.uk/postcodes>
www.museumoflondon.org.uk/postcodes.
To request a place on the guest list please Jane Sarre, Access & Learning, Museum of London, London Wall, EC2Y 5BH, or email
