Dear Colleague,
Netskills will be running the following workshop at Edinburgh's Telford College (RSC Scotland N&E) on February 23rd, 2005:
Information Skills: Is Google Enough?
For many people Google is the one and only place to search for
information on the internet. But how do you know if the sites Google
finds are of good quality? And just how helpful is it to get several
million hits? It's vital to use Google critically and to be aware of
other search sites and information sources.
This workshop will give you a greater understanding of how Google
works and equip you to search it, and other sites, more effectively.
The workshop also provides you with the opportunity to explore what
else is out there, learn about new developments in searching and
think about how to evaluate web sites for quality.
Netskills will be returning to this venue in March to deliver the following workshops:
- Dreamweaver MX: Creating & Managing Accessible Web Sites (March 17th)
- Fundamentals of Flash MX (March 18th)
Full details of these events and booking forms are available from our web-site:

Steve Boneham.
