A few other databases include a cited references field, which may be
searched - see the search interface instructions. The two I'm thinking of
are CINAHL and PsycINFO. References are included if and only if the
publisher give copyright permission. You could also try searching within
the full text for those journals where you have this option. Searches would
need to include the primary author and a key phrase from the article title.
Note that even within the ISI Web of Knowledge products, you'll only
retrieve citations from journals included in the ISI databases. In the
first phases of the MLA Nursing & Allied Health Resources Section (NAHRS)
citation analysis studies near completion (18 nursing areas), we found that
ISI databases did not provide good access to nursing journals, or many of
the journals cited.
Finding all citations to a given article is a difficult challenge, even with
access to all databases where citations may be searched..
Good luck - Peg
