Grade/Salary: A&C 5 (£17,714 - £21,549 per annum)
Working Option: Full Time
Description: Fixed term contract to 31st March 2006, suitable for job share or secondment.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced library and information professional to work as part of the NHS libraries team in Leeds to further develop and deliver an information literacy search skills training programme across the Leeds NHS community. You must be highly IT literate and have substantial experience of both using and training in the use of electronic resources (Internet, electronic journals, bibliographic databases etc).
You will have excellent presentation skills, and the ability to develop, market and deliver effective training to all levels of staff. You will need good planning skills, and be able to work on your own initiative.
Experience of health information and related resources would be an advantage, as would a training/teaching qualification.
