BMA Library Open Days 2005
To find out more about the BMA library's services, come to one of our
popular open days. They run from 1.30 - 4.30 pm, are free and refreshments
are provided.
They are to be held at BMA House on:
Monday 25 April 2005
Tuesday 13 September 2005
Tuesday 6 December 2005
The open day is intended to provide visitors with an overview of services
available to members and introduce new developments. The afternoon begins
with an overview of our services and a tour of the library followed by
brief presentations and question/answer sessions on the following services:
Programme
1.15 pm - Registration and tea/coffee
1.30 pm - Welcome and General introduction to the BMA library and new
developments
1.50 pm - The BMA library website
2.20 pm - Tour of the library, including new scanner demonstration
3.10 pm - Tea/coffee break
3.25 pm - Enquiry services
3.45 pm - Video loan service
3.55 pm - Ordering requests via the web, and Searching the library's
catalogues
4.20 pm - Final questions
4.30 pm - Finish
** Lunch can be purchased from the staff canteen open between 12.00 - 2.00
pm.**
