Didn't I hear somewhere that the BBC has one of the largest Librarian workforce. I wonder why they were not asked!!!!

Due to rushing to work at 7.45 to make sure l managed a parking place
l was just able to catch the report but unable to mail a response.
Why, oh why, does the media think that librarians only work in public
libraries?
Never have l heard on any TV programme that there may be law librarians,
health librarians, agricultural librarian and l am sure in some top fashion
house there is a fashion librarian.
Me thinks we have ourselves to blame for our low profile and lack of
publicity on how we contribute to the various organisations we work for.
I am busy buttoning my cardigan in agitation

We won't change people's ideas of us until we all unite in wanting to.
Hands up all who are wearing cardigans...
Seriously, this debate has been going on for the twenty years that I've been
in the profession. When are we actually going to do something about it?
