The International Association of Music Libraries (UK and Ireland branch) presents a new one-day course: Virtuoso skills for music enquiries: a masterclass for library staff.

CONTENT
The course will provide an overview of the principal printed and electronic resources available for music enquiries, including guides to reference sources, dictionaries and encyclopaedias, catalogues and abstracting and indexing tools. The course will also cover web-searching techniques, and there will be an opportunity to practice using the resources discussed in three "hands on" sessions.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND?
Staff in libraries of any kind who deal with extended music enquiries on a day-to-day or occasional basis.
