Hello everyone
If you'd like to find out the latest developments in the world of EU law and policy information, you might be interested in the EIA's annual conference which will take place in London on Thursday 14 and Friday 15 April 2005.
We've speakers from both the EU institutions and national government, plus leading authorities in the field who will cover a range of subjects including:
* the information priorities of the new Commissioner for Communication;
* key information developments of the last 12 months;
* the future for EUR-Lex;
* the information policy of the Foundation for Living and Working Conditions;
* how the UK government is preparing for the EU Presidency;
* plus there will be workshops on tracing national implementation of EU law, the EU constitution and web archiving of EU sites.
There is also the opportunity to attend a training course on EU statistics on Wednesday 13 April and to participate in a tour of the British Library.
The cost for EIA members is 250 GBP (360 EUR); for non-members 350 GBP (499 EUR) which includes all sessions, documentation, lunches and refreshments.
