The Graduate School of Informatics at the University of Strathclyde in
partnership with the Career Development Group (Scottish Division) are
offering a series of one-day courses in central Glasgow in April. Details

The courses on offer are:
- 'Connecting to the Internet' - Monday April 4th 2005
- 'Digital libraries: design, access and use' - Tuesday April 5th 2005
- 'Hitchhikers Guide to Science Fiction' - Wednesday April 6th 2005
- 'Researching your users' - Friday April 8th 2005
- 'Basic Web Site Design' - Monday April 11th 2005
- 'Marketing and Branding' - Tuesday April 12th 2005
- 'Working with digital images' - Thursday April 14th 2005
- 'Introduction to Metadata' - Friday April 15th 2005
The courses will be delivered by academic staff from the Department of
Computer and Information Sciences, and all attendees will receive
certificates to confirm their attendance.
Each course will run from 10-4 each day, with lunch and refreshments
included. All courses are bookable via the Internet. For further
