LILAC 2006: the Information Literacy Annual Conference will take place at
the University of Leeds from 27th-29th March, 2006.
It is organised by the Information Literacy Sub-group of CSG (CILIP).
Call for papers now open
The LILAC Conference Committee would like to announce that the call for
papers for the parallel sessions is now open.
Papers are welcome that address one or more of the conference themes.
Submissions from both researchers and practitioners are encouraged.
Deadline for proposals: 30th November 2005.

This year's conference will include papers and presentations in the
following formats: short papers, long papers, demonstrations/hands-
on/workshop sessions and posters. All presentations should address one or
more of the conference themes which are:
* Embedding and enriching
* Information Literacy and citizenship
* New areas of practice and research
* Practical approaches to Information Literacy
* Staff development and Information Literacy
* Strategic approaches to Information Literacy
Applicants will be notified by 15th January 2006 if they have been
successful or otherwise.
