The International Information Industry Awards, hosted by Online
Information and Information World Review, celebrate the achievements of
information teams; information, knowledge and content management projects;
vendors and individual information professionals.
Award categories include products, projects, companies, teams and
individuals and your nomination can relate to your own company, a
colleague, a client or even a supplier. Have you or your team made a
valuable contribution in the past year? Would you like to praise a
supplier who has worked with you on a specific project? Whatever the
sector or specialism - we want to hear about it!
Team awards include 'best information/knowledge team in the public
sector'; 'best information team in a business environment', 'best academic
information team', and 'best information team in a scientific
environment'.
Project awards include 'best intranet or extranet project' and 'best
knowledge management project'. Product and vendor awards include 'best
business information product', 'best STM information product', and 'best
user experience'.
New awards this year include: 'Best Implementation of a Business Blog' and
'The Annalie Vickers and Jeremy Lakin Young Achiever Award.'

Being shortlisted for an award gives the whole team a boost and is a great
way to raise a company profile or reward an individual. 2004 winners
included Open University Knowledge Networks, Boots plc intranet,
Northamptonshire Observatory Portal, Hoovers Online, ALPSP and Swets
Information Services, and the London Business School Library.

The winners will be announced at the Royal Lancaster Hotel in London on
Wednesday 30 November during a gala evening with dinner, dancing, live
entertainment and a celebrity host.
