The Business Information Service, part of The John Rylands University
Library and based at Manchester Business School, is once again hosting its
popular series of management and research skills training courses.
Following the success of our 2004 training courses, we are pleased to
present our 2005 programme, which combines a number of courses back by
popular demand, plus some completely new ones, with something for
everyone.
Hosted by highly experienced trainers, we welcome back Karen Blakeman,
Chris Murphy and Paul Pedley, who will run their most popular courses. We
are also delighted to welcome new trainers Deborah Dalley, Caroline Doidge
and Keith Trickey, who have between them a vast range of training
expertise.
The courses cover research skills such as investigating and using Internet
resources, data protection, report writing, plus a range of human
management skills including work stress management, managing change and
customer relationships.
Dominic Broadhurst, Head of the Business Information Service said: ?I am
delighted that we have been able to expand our training programme this
year. It confirms our presence as the leading supplier of these courses
based outside the South East. Our courses are of high quality, affordable
and are held at a prestigious location?.
The courses are open to anyone at a cost of £250 + VAT and this includes a
three course lunch. Registered BINN/MBS members are eligible for a
discounted rate.
