Sunderland Teaching Primary Care Trust is seeking an Assistant Librarian

Salary : A&C 4 under review, 37 hours
Fixed term : 11 months from appointment

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, professionally qualified
librarian to join the library manager in providing a proactive information
service to the trust and primary care colleagues.
An enthusiastic individual you will have at least 1 years library
experience at graduate level, with experience of Library Management Systems
and Microsoft databases.
The post holder will be expected to create a catalogue of all items held
within the library and produce management reports including reports for end
users.
The post holder will also work with the Web Development Service Team to
make the catalogue available across the Trust Intranet site.
The post holder will assist with the acquisition, cataloguing and
classification of material and with other administrative tasks associated
with cataloguing library materials.
You will need to be able to work on your own, prioritising workload and
meeting deadlines.
You should possess excellent interpersonal and organisational skills and
have a flexible approach to work.
